The Pointillist Photography Art Gallery
Artist's Profile
Step into a world where time bends, light speaks, and forgotten journeys are reborn.
For over 30 years, I’ve been crafting a unique genre I call Pointillist Photography—a fusion of impressionism and ultramodern vision, created entirely through analog techniques using only light, lenses, and film.
Time and Space Travel is my enduring passion. Through my lens, I explore the mysteries of vintage Kodachrome slides—thousands of them, captured by anonymous travelers in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s.
These antique images, acquired through auctions across the U.S. and Europe, are portals into distant lands and lost moments. I magnify their grain, uncovering images within images and secrets within secrets, revealing the soul of a shutter click from decades past.
My photography is purely analog.
Using a customized camera setup and specialized lighting, I isolate and elevate the film grain of these Kodachromes with startling clarity. Each master photograph is approximately 1/100 the size of the original slide, and the title reflects the year the original was taken.
There is no digital processing—only the raw, luminous truth of film.
